After the success of the first tournament, we started an international one. Teams from all over Europe (but not only!) tried their hand at a tournament... A complete change from the first Opus.
This tournament, sponsored by TeamSpeak & VB-Audio at 150Eur Cashprize and open to ALL (Iron -> Immortal), was a big (maybe a bit too big) gamble for our whole team. To do so, we had to adapt everything for the international market, from the website to the Discord and the Twitter, all the elements had to be translated into English. In the same way, our team had to (re)train & adapt to provide accurate and concrete help in English, which is not something that is easy to do.
Overall, we are extremely proud of the way this tournament went. During the 2 weekends of play, about 100 players in teams of 5 to 7 players had a great time in this tournament.
For a second official tournament produced by Mic!ON and especially its first open international tournament, we are proud of what we have achieved and what we have offered to the community. All this would not have been possible without our partners, VB-Audio & TeamSpeak
Even if some aspects need to be reviewed (there is always some), the competition has come to an end properly, the prizes have been distributed and the messages we receive are all about one thing: "when is the next edition?
